Opinion on the Lost Surfboards and main advantages of the Short Round one

Short Round is a mixed, uncomplicated surfboard designed for low conditions. It was created by Matt Biolos.

It boasts of a Carbon Wrap structure without a stinger. You can currently find it on every product modeled by him across the globe.

Taking inheritance of giving pleasure, being quick and advanced from the previous surfboard designed for people who surf daily, Lost Surfboard manages risky going-downs, is easily controlled during the whole process and swings when the waves are not so big, rather common.

LOST SURFBOARDS SHORT ROUND

Pros of the Lost Surfboards Short Round:

  • It gives an impression of an advanced surfboard aimed at low waves, though it has the broader contour.
  • It gives a dynamic, sensitive and linked experience under common up to decent conditions.
  • Thanks to the special-design structure, it has a lower weight, is more energetic and faster in comparison with the surfboards I have been recently testing that have identical contours, size, and thickness.

Cons of the Lost Surfboards Short Round:

  • Each person has his own opinion on how many grams a lost board should have, but, as far as I am concerned, I am a fan of more voluminous ones. It, from my perspective, would eliminate the problem that it shivered under higher, turbulent conditions every so often.

What I Tested

Lost Short Round

The dimensions of Round Short surfboard amount to 6’2 (187.96 cm) x 21.25 x 2.8, 41.84 liters, and they are just right.

It was modeled by Matt personally and was used by him in 2015.

I have taken the FCS 2 Performers to test SHort surfboard. They are a good choice when used in common, daily waves.

Main Ideas

Hi, we are happy to have you here again. Here is our today’s board.

It has carbon and is an attractive, advanced, mixed model for low conditions.

Lost Surfboards Short Round will be the topic of our discussion. You will find out what it can and also some things about the styling.

Then, you will find out what situations I used it in which there were many. I will let you know the reason I believe it is exceptional.

To my mind,  Lost one boasts of some unique feature. You may already understand my point, but I will share my opinion with you further down the line. After that nothing more, we are done.

LibTech Lost Short Round 5'8 x 19.63 x 2.32

Lost Surfboards  are nice, speedy, high-level surfboards that are not at all hard to be used and are more than favorable for common conditions that the greatest part of people is under.

It belongs to the group of surfboards similar to the Rocket ones.

As you can see, its contour features a rather similar drawn-in circular rear part that advanced short models usually have.

Afterwards, the contour gets a little broader in the middle. All in all, it features an oval contour.

The next thing is a quite broad front part with a minuscule bottom curve at the front. The way it works…

Thanks to the set of its parts, Round model is a truly fast, energetic, mixed, advanced LOST board for low conditions, like said, within the group of surfboards I have already mentioned.

5'8'' x 20.37 x 2.63 (35.35L) Lost "Short Round"

Short one is super quick. It has passed a test under higher conditions, under lower conditions, under porous, terrible conditions, under quite decent ones, and I can say that I am totally amazed.

In comparison to the Rocket surfboard I compared it to, Round thing is a bit more advanced. Mainly that rear part when we have the authentic Lost Rocket in mind, it seemed to be skidding.

It featured a large overturn at the rear part (rear bottom curve), which is why the model gives a wobbly and skidding impression. They have decreased it slightly in newer surfboards.

Nevertheless, you get an impression you are using an advanced short model, but in lower waves.

I truly enjoyed this delicate, uncomplicated styling.

Are there any exceptional features? There are some, in fact.

The first feature is that it has Matt’s signature on it. He made the surfboard when he visited Australia, and he does so every time he is there.

Our tastes are the same in terms of the size, and I was lucky enough to grab several models from his voyage.

Within the whole set I got, I have started my test with Short Round Surfboard. It is truly a pleasure.

Another exceptional feature is its Carbon Wrap structure without a stinger. The creation of this structure belongs to Dan McDonald.

I have tested many models of this kind so far, and you can choose yourself one depending on the intention you have.

However, look here at the carbon going from the point, then across here and, consequently, going out and bending ahead of the forward fins, winding and playing the role of a rear part area. Here there is some amount of this material, too.

Moving along, this carbon line, its form and position had been thought out, so that it bends in a twisting way. As you are swinging with it, and it is rolling over, it is necessary that the surfboard spins away.

This problem is solved thanks to the unique structure used in this model.

It bears much pressure during a long period, and this is why this material was chosen here to have the same advantages while in the water, namely, that jumpy experience.

Like said, the way it is positioned adds energy. I am delighted. I am repeating, I have tested it under lower conditions, and it jumps out of swings.

You get so much pleasure and speed. As opposed to it, in higher waves it is not so jumpy which is so great. I got an impression it does a good job in a wide span of conditions.

It is really great, this unique structure. I have tested it both as a thruster and as a quad, and I enjoyed using it as the first one mentioned, under higher and more decent conditions.

It was great as I had slightly more grip, but I added the FCS2 Performers to it. I liked the way it turned out to be, this truly outstanding small advanced, mixed model.

Lost Surfboards Short Round in a row

Like said, it is a very uncomplicated styling, moreover, I adore that it has that unique structure.

It has an extremely low weight, is very quick and, once more, gives you a jumpy experience. Moreover, it is bouncy at swings which it does greatly.

As far as I am concerned, I am not fast at surfing, my strong point is strength. Thanks to this model, I get an impression I am faster, which is why this is one more advantage of this one.

In any case, this was our hands on this model. We are almost sure you liked our thoughts and information about its unique structure.

Follow us in case you have not done it yet, if you like all of this. In the nearest future I will tell you about every Biolos’s model. There will also be several more models that are terrific, too.
