Quick review of the Lost Puddle Jumper – interesting model of surfboard

The surfboard is quite responsive and agile. We will tell you today if it has that very ideal equilibrium of efficiency in water under extremely low conditions.

I wanted to test Lost Jumper Surfboard so much because Matt, the creator of it all, had shared his opinion on it, calling it his best model.

The possibility to hit a happy medium in regard to efficiency in the water and pace gathering in super low waves and being energetic, exact and mobile at the same time has not been offered up to recent times.

The surfboard copes with it, pulling like mad, being very efficient in higher conditions with sharp going-downs, and being quick, exact and agile during swings.

Make yourself comfortable, here is our hands on the Puddle Jumper Surfboard!

Lib Tech x Lost Puddle Jumper Surfboard

Pros of the Puddle board:

  • Although it has the broader contour, thanks to the front part and the fine, adjusted rear part, it is super responsive and agile.
  • It has that very ideal equilibrium of efficiency in water and pace gathering.
  • It slides and drifts in the water, which gives you a pleasant experience.
  • It was designed for lower waves, but it does well in a wide span of conditions: it copes with miniature, feeble waves, but waves above the level of the head are no problem for his one, either.

Cons of the Puddle board:

  • Unlike elongated, thick surfboards, it needs an advanced treatment and will not let you make mistakes to such an extent as other surfboards of the group.
  • When in more common waves, it was harder to surf owing to the responsive front and rear parts. It still copes with that, but more perfect waves are ideal for it (like for anybody else…).

What I Tested

Lib Tech 5'9 Lost Puddle Jumper

It was the Lost Puddle Jumper. Its dimensions amount to 5’11 (180.34 cm) x 21.625 x 2.875, 42.4 liters.

I used the fresh and updated Futures EA Blackstix 3.0 fins with the Lost surfboard. You get additional grip and energy thanks to the fine, adjusted rear part.

At the next stage, I took the Futures QD2 quad trailers  at the rear, and it started showing its advantages to the full! My passion is quads.

What It Fits

Review: Lost Puddle Jumper Surfboard

Waves mid leg up to above the level of the head, from plane to concave. Sloppy, common waves will be no problem for it, but more perfect waves are ideal for it (like for anybody else…).

Properties of the surfboard

  1. Puddle Jumper inherited the Bottom Feeder profile while having a reverted low silhouette and bottom bents.
  2. Hollow low switches to a V across the rear part gives you high efficiency.
  3. A linear rail contour and a V-shaped rear part together give you additional grip and handleability.
  4. A broad contour gives you more effective surfing, pace and steadiness.

Opponents

Lost Puddle Jumper PU

  • Haydenshapes Love Buzz: it has another type of contour, but it is identically quick and energetic in lower waves.
  • Panda Surfboards Bear Essentials: surfboad is identically quick and agile in extremely low to low waves.
  • Bing Surfboards Dharma: a good trusted preferred up-to-date advanced surfboard, with an identical span of conditions, although giving a more sliding experience.

Main Ideas

Hi, we are happy to have you here again!

It has been a while since I was so thrilled to share my opinion. You can see the freshest Lost Puddle Jumper.

Those who happened to see the recent videos are aware of the fact that Matt shared his opinion with us on his most preferred surfboard, the surfboard being on the list as the best surfboard.

He calls the Puddle board the greatest surfboard for bad conditions ever. And we should rely on that as he is both a very experienced surfer and shaper to an equal extent.

A lot of you wanted me to try the Puddle, and I was extremely eager to do it. I can say that Lost One may be the most popular surfboard you have wanted me to test.

I will be happy to pay tribute to the Lost Surfboard as it is an amazing surfboard.

LOST – PUDDLE JUMPER´s

An important distinctive feature of the Puddle that stands out when compared to other surfboards of the type (including those made by other companies) is a truly broad contour aimed at bot good conditions.

As a rule, it gives me an impression that there is a compromise between efficiency in the water and a pace gathering capability.

I have found this equilibrium achieved in the best way possible in this one. Its contour is massive, having an appearance of being a broader contour for lower conditions.

Puddle Jumper is quite thick all the way through, with the foil being quite levelled at the same time.

Something I want to draw your attention to is its rear part which is so fine and responsive. Although there is much foam, this part is truly fine and slim.

You will find photos of the rear part on our page. Its form is rather extraordinary.

All in all, sorry for bringing up the things Matt already said, it’s the greatest in the group. It does like thick models, gaining speed immediately and being truly responsive.

Lost Puddle Jumper HP

I have been testing Lost Puddle recently under decent conditions, almost at the level of the head maximum. I happened to have lower conditions, too, which were not very pleasing in some areas.

It shoved me quickly to cope with these areas, being exact at the same time so that I caught that wave doing a sharp low swing. Pace was never insufficient, no matter what I was about to do.

I like when the direction is to the left, but it was vice versa this time. It was truly quick, but with uniform strokes.

I managed to pop up and did 3 nice swings one after another. My greatest swings from recently. I am not sure it is plausible to be done using the models from the same type group, and the thing stroked a chord on me.

One more pleasant feature is that, thanks to its large broad contour, it copes with high waves more efficiently than the greatest part of the models equipped with such a large broad contour.

It has been tested in waves above the level of the head and, like said, it is very responsive.

You truly get an impression as if you are using a combined, advanced model for low conditions with a sharp front part, or a more advanced short model. I am truly delighted with the Jumper.

I can name several styling features that are not at all the same when compared to the models I told you about.

A lot of Lost models feature a distinct low outline that provides joy under low conditions. Unlike them, this model features a hollow long wise, going V-shaped at the rear part.

To my mind, this a rather versatile-type low outline is exactly what makes it so advanced. Repeating it, this low silhouette gives power to that one whereas it features this broader silhouette.

Lost Surfboards STABMAG TESTS THE C4 PUDDLE JUMPER HP

I have already touched upon the broad contour, I have touched upon the thought-out positioning of the foam. Then, the rails are fine and of a middle size, thicker, but do not seem to be large or complicated.

The front part is perfect to me, making it possible to glide through more leveled areas, but it is not extremely broad and never bothers you.

Like said, being a speedy surfboard designed for miniature conditions, it acts like a combined model suitable for low conditions. This one is on top when compared to its rivals — the Lost V3 Rocket and the Love Buzz.

Once more, if I am not mistaken, Matt stated that  the Lost surfboard was the greatest low condition model. I have almost related on that.

It is a unique one.

If somebody has been trying to understand if this surfboard is perfect for you, here is what we think about it: to my mind, you will be satisfied if you buy it.

This one truly stands out in comparison with the models we have talked about, only the experience of the energy and the capability to turn it all over and position it anywhere you wish to.

LIB x …Lost Puddle Jumper

I have started testing Puddle Jumper with the fins I already mentioned, and I adore them and have a collection of them.

It turned out to go marvelously as a thruster. It would be perfect like this in higher, stronger waves. When I used the QD2 quad trailers, I was pleased.

Lost Jumper surfboard is a nice complement to the company’s family of surfboards.

I will be happy to find out your opinion on the Puddle Jumper. Give us a thumb-up for this hands-on experience, follow us to always be in line with the newest things.

We highly appreciate your attention and are pleased if it were helpful. Catch you later.

FINAL THOUGHT, “purchase this model, you will be satisfied”.
