What I Tested
My first surfboard was a three-fin Lost Beach Buggy board. The board was jumping. It all was not successful, even awful.
Then, I took another FCS. I immediately noticed the difference.

With Lost Beach board, you will be able to ride very high and quick waves which are a two-thirds of your height or even higher.
You will be also able to do well under typical conditions.
Properties of Lost Beach Buggy
- Its rear part is increased to a great extent for making curving turns.
- A bottom curve and a broader front part to achieve the boost and balance.
- It has a little broader middle and rear parts in the contour which gives you more push when the speeds are smaller.

Main ideas
Recently I have had a successful surf. Now I want to go to Bali. That is why I was searching for a surfboard suitable for this area. Firstly, I tried to choose and use some surfboard.
I chose the Beach Buggy. It is signed by Taj Burrow.
I already saw Beach surfboard some time ago. It had a normal rear part, and my curiosity was raised.
“Lost” is designed in order to satisfy advanced surfers like the person who signed it.
The thing is accurate and quick. Such a style can be defined as accuracy, handleability, and tempo. Taj’s surfboards are designed for this kind of surfing, but this model is rather for an average surfer.
This one here is a bigger variation of it. Its size is 6’6 (1.98 meters) with a little blunter rear part.
If you ask me, I like the blunt end for bigger waves. In this case, you have a better control of the surfboard with higher and sharper waves.
This is what I pick up in the Indian Ocean.
Lost Buggy can be characterized as an advanced-level surfboard for beaches. It differs from those boards that I normally use — smaller, broader and thicker — and in general allows you to make little mistakes.
That kind of surfboard will better fit people of shorter height who surf fast and abruptly.
I tried Lost on high waves, and it surely managed this task successfully. It is noticeable that it features a very tight and drawn in front part.
“Beach” is far from being broad, becoming broader in the rear part to give common surfers more handleability under common conditions. The bottom curve, that very push of the rear part in the bottom curve, promotes carrying out of curving turns.
Moreover, it features an end-to-end bottom curve which goes straight across the middle part and eventually diminishes.
Lost Beach differs from other surfboards signed by Taj.
