The Isalnds F is an extremely popular, traditional surfboard. It is an elongated and a little adjusted model among the most favored Flyer type copies.
Here the letter ‘F’ stands for ‘flat’. The difference between the model and the forbearer model is that this one features a little shortened bottom curve.
Pros of Channel Surfboard
- It truly glides and provides tempo under the greatest part of circumstances.
- All-purpose advanced surfboard that fits a wide scope of waves.
- Its styling makes it easy to use, it meets the needs of people of different experience.
Cons of Islands Flyer
- I am not a fan of the Islands Board used as a quad, but I am not a fan of quads by and large.

What It Fits
Flyer Surfboard is an all-purpose device.
Concerning the waves Flyer F would be perfect for it, these are sloppy, common waves to higher, firmer waves to the uttermost twice as big as a person’s height.
Properties of Flyer
- Compared to the for bearer model, the Channel Isalnds is characterized with a little shortened bottom curve.
- An isolated hollow across the rear part to a dual hollow across the fins.
- The Islands F is perfect for little to middle-size waves, but works well as a common short surfboard in higher waves at the same time.
- This one is done to order exclusively.
- Its contour is considerably large. In addition, it features rather rounded rails.
Opponents of Flyer
- Opinion on the Channel Islands New Flyer Surfboard: Channel Island’s newest and best version
- Opinion on the Lost Sub Buggy Surfboard: an excellent day-to-day all-purpose machine
- Opinion on the Haydenshapes Ando Surfboard: it belongs to the list of my top elongated short surfboards so far. This one can fit middle-size waves as well.
Main Ideas
Hi, here is our impression we got from the Al Merrick Flyer F.
The dimensions are 5’9 (175.26 cm) x 19.5 x 2.3125. The volume is 27.8 liters, but I got an impression that it is bigger than that.
It is truly thick all along the length up to the back part, it gets smaller only across the front part.
Its contour is considerably large. It is considerably thick all along its length.
Impressions
I have tested the Islands model of surfboard under the whole range of circumstances.
To my mind, the Channel works well with the waves around 180 cm in height to maximum twice as high as a person’s height.
Flyer works quite well in common waves or in quite bad waves prior to getting to your transition surfboard. However, this one shows itself well under these circumstances.
I can call Islands F a rather enjoyable versatile model.
Fin Arrangement
Like said, I have been testing the model with a template. In addition, it has a quad arrangement. To my mind, it is not so good.
I cannot call myself a fan of such things. There was solely one kind from the area that I have enjoyed using.
These models featured back fins positioned a little nearer to each other. If I am not mistaken, Hayden has got a slimmer one.
I have got pleasure using the Channel. I intended to put my hands on it to check it out. One can buy two surfboards at the price of this one.
The Channel model of surfboard was the top one in the company that produces it. It cannot be called their greatest one, there has not been much of advertisement over it, but I have heard many surfers preferred it.
Flyer F is not a bad option. It works well under a whole range of circumstances.
The Model
It features an isolated hollow across the forward part, switching to a dual across the fin, gives much of gliding and tempo under the greatest part of circumstances.
This one, being a middle-level, newbie, performance model, will meet nearly everybody’s needs. You only need to adapt it to your required dimensions.
The Channel will work well everywhere and suit nearly every surfer.
In any case, check it out. I had already tested such a model before. There have been several of such a kind in my inventory coming and going.
This was my opinion, and I really appreciate your attention.
