It is sixth time. The Australian surfing rider Stephanie Gilmore became the holder of the ASP World Champion Tour prize.
The only thing to surfing champion to be done is to do this only once more to beat the results of Layne Beachley, her fellow countrywoman.
She grabbed her 6th competition although she lost at the final stage.
Stephanie’s twenty-year-old Australian rival Tyler Wright seemed to win making the surfing master restless. Tyler’s loss against Carissa Moore ensured this woman the triumph.
If Tyler had got a victory, the champion would have been surfer’s rival. Consequently, she took the second position, whereas Carissa — the 3rd one in her turn.
According to Stephanie, the hardest contest during the career took place in 2014.
The competition was very intense, with a lot of strong rivals.
One more rival from Australia who was aspiring to win was Sally Fitzgibbons. She lost against champion’s rival Bianca Buitendag, too, which made it possible for both our Australian and Tyler to compete for the title.
Even though she did not manage to take the first place in 2013, she took part as a reigning prize holder, having won four years earlier.
Having started as a junior in 2007, she kept victory six years on end, except for 2011 and 2013, having taken the 3rd and the 5th places respectively.
For you to know, the ASP World Tour is a contest funded by the Association of Surfing Professionals with the ASP Star, ASP Prime and the World Title Race being part of it.
The person who goes on top of the list of the letter mentioned contest is named the ASP World Tour Champion.
She believes that the surfing rivalry will be more and more intense every time as juveniles take part annually. Background plus enthusiasm and close connection to the water play a leading role at all times.
The surfing champion was a ten-year-old australian child when she put her foot in this door. Seven years afterwards she started surfing rider’s way in competitions. The girl’s prospects to beat the best result are truly excellent.
